CHEMSINO Team Building: A Two-Day Journey Through Culture and Nature

Last Friday and Saturday, the CHEMSINO team took a two-day trip to Luoyang, Henan province, combining beautiful scenery, Chinese culture, and time together away from our daily work.

With our tour guide leading the way, we visited the Longmen Grottoes and Mount Laojun, and enjoyed the digital cultural performance “Tracing the Luoshen Rhapsody.” It was a relaxing and memorable two days for everyone.

A Walk Through History at Longmen Grottoes

Our journey began at the Longmen Grottoes, one of China's best-known ancient cultural sites. Located on the banks of the Yi River in Luoyang, the grottoes contain thousands of Buddhist statues, carvings, and inscriptions created over many centuries.

Standing in front of the ancient carvings, we could see the remarkable craftsmanship behind these works and gain a deeper appreciation of China's long history and culture.

Exploring Mount Laojun

The next stop was Mount Laojun, one of the most famous scenic mountains in Henan. Known for its dramatic mountain peaks, natural scenery, and connection with Taoist culture, Mount Laojun offered a completely different experience.

After the cultural tour, walking through the mountains and enjoying the scenery gave everyone a chance to slow down, relax, and enjoy conversations with colleagues.

Experiencing “Tracing the Luoshen Rhapsody”

The trip also included an evening digital performance, “Tracing the Luoshen Rhapsody.” Inspired by Rhapsody on the Goddess of the Luo River, a famous work of Chinese literature, the show combines traditional culture with modern digital technology.

The combination of light, sound, visual effects, and storytelling brought the ancient story to life in a very different way.

Building Connections Beyond Work

A good team is built not only through working together, but also through shared experiences.

This two-day trip gave the CHEMSINO team an opportunity to relax, communicate, and get to know each other better. From ancient grottoes to mountain landscapes and a modern cultural performance, we returned with new memories and renewed energy.
