Propylene Glycol in Food

Propylene Glycol (PG) 99.9% in food is a high-purity, colorless liquid used as a humectant, solvent, and stabilizer. It helps maintain moisture, improve texture, and ensure consistent quality in beverages, baked goods, confectionery, and other processed food products.

The propylene glycol commonly used organic synthetic raw materials for the manufacture of unsaturated polyester resin. Also can be used as emulsifier, preservative, antifreeze agent. Also used in the manufacture of alkyd resin, poly propylene glycol, plasticizer, surfactants and lubricants.
